I enjoy making games because I find it as a great way to communicate a story or an idea in an entertaining way.
I am usually tasked with art so I specialize in a cartoon, 2D style. Doing this I have worked with various
art programs like Adobe Photoshop and Animate. I have a long history of doing game UI as well. Thankfully, I am not limited
to 2D as I also work with 3D assets using Maya, Blender, and Substance Painter.
In terms of programming, I usually deal with programming matters related to the UI interface or various
game loops. I have a large focus on working with dialogue systems because I tend to like story based games.
Although not entirely programming related, I also have experience in level design. My motto is to make things pretty, but still functional.
Below are current and past projects that I have worked on.
Unity, Art (3D Assets)
A GIMM Works WIP in collaberation with various hunting organizations to teach hunting safety. I am in charge of making some of the 3D models.
Unity, Art
A team WIP project with other GIMM students in collaberation with Boise State University's Lumiary to make an escape room game. I am in charge of character design.
Unity, Art (3D Assets)
A team WIP project with other GIMM students to help promote GIMM to incoming students. I am in charge of some 3D models.
Ren'py, Art, Narration
One of my many WIP projects and a solo project. It's an ode to my love of visual novels and my first time using Ren'py.
Unreal, Art (3D Assets), UI, Level Design
Drum Duels is an accessible game made in a team of three. This game was for a client who was blind. I focused on the UI design, implementation, and level design.
I contributed to the functionality of the UI in code via. how they transition between menus and how it triggers when you mouse click it. Besides that, I modeled a few assets in the scene.

Unity, Art, UI
A educational website and unity application that is going being used in Idaho schools by GIMM Works. It is supposed to teach about Idaho's history.
I was the artist for the Unity side, creating the characters, avatar designs, and scene design. I also worked with the UI in the game.
Unity, AR, UI, Art (3D Assets)
This application is an add-on to a project with a similar name for the City of Boise through GIMM Works. It's to encourage people to go to their local parks and also learn the history of the parks.
My role was to create the new UI, although I also did some 3D modeling and the implementation of said models into the scene.

Unity, VR, Art (3D Assets), UI, Level Design
This is a solo project VR game. I created all the assets besides the music that appear in the game. My goal was to make an rpg type game.
Since this was my second time programming in VR, it is still rough around the edges but proves to show that I could do it.
The models were made both in Blender and Maya.

Xcode (Swift), application and activity wireframe, Art and Animations
This is a sample Xcode application that helps children with special needs that a breath. This was done in collaberation with Mississpi State University.
I did character concepts for the characters leading the exercise as well as some wireframes for the activity and application. The animations for the actual application was done in Adobe Animate.

Art (3D Assets)
This is a website and mobile application done for Boise State University to notify students with the app about tours and other things.
This was done in GIMM Works and my role was to make 3D models for an AR portion of the app that showed various dorm rooms.
Xcode (Swift), AR (Reality Composer), Art (3D Assets), Level Design
This project was done in collaberation with GIMM Works and Anne Frank Memorial to create an AR experience that teaches about the history of Anne Frank and why it is important.
For this project, I have made several unused models, but mainly worked on level design for each AR scene.
The Elysium Series is a feature of games that had my character, Elysium, as a main character.
While the plots are vastly different, they feature my attempts to improve upon a dialogue system that
I created with more features (i.e. tracking information, spawning in the overworld) and more efficently (i.e. having contious options in one scene, easy connection to various of scenes.)
Below are more information about each game.
Unity, Programming, Art, UI, Level Design, Narration
Elysium is a solo Unity game. For this I worked on improving upon an existing gameloop by adding RPG elements like trading and a story via dialogue system. As this was my first project, I think it turned out great.

Cinderella AR is a Unity AR game made with a team. For this, I mainly focused on art and connecting the AR portion to my partners' main game loops. Making 2D gameloops work in a 3D enviorment was a challenge.

Pursuit of Time is a Unity game made with a team. For this, I mainly focused on art and improving the dialogue system with the gameloop. I also worked with a global data manager for the first time.
